Me, Frankie Knuckles and M Patterson
The moments that seem unimportant today often become the memories you treasure most tomorrow. That’s why it’s so important to take the picture, save the moment, and hold onto the people who made life special.
I was managing the club back when Frankie Knuckles became the resident DJ at Sound Factory after Junior Vasquez left, you might have expected a legend to carry himself differently — but Frankie was one of the kindest people you could ever meet.
Just as we were about to take a photo together in the DJ booth, someone unexpectedly jumped into the frame. We laughed so hard that the picture captured us mid-laughter instead of posing.
Looking back, those are the moments that matter most — the unplanned ones, the genuine ones. One of life’s greatest privileges is the friendships you build with truly talented people along the way.
This is E-MAN
